FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — An unoccupied patrol vehicle rolled down a hill and into a Federal Way home Monday evening, police said.
Before 6:30 p.m. an officer responded to a rollover crash at 32614 35th Avenue Southwest, where a driver hit a parked car and flipped over.
Police said the officer who arrived at the scene quickly got out of his vehicle and failed to put his patrol vehicle in park.
The patrol vehicle rolled down a hill and crashed into a home. The vehicle and home were damaged.
No one in the home was injured.
The driver in the flipped vehicle was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not serious.
