PORTLAND, Ore. — A 67-year-old woman was moving furniture when a dresser fell on top of her, trapping her for nearly four days, deputies in Washington County, Ore. Said.
When newspapers began piling up and her car hadn't left the lot, neighbors became concerned and called authorities outside of Portland.
When officers arrived, they broke down the door and found the woman pinned under the dresser.
Deputies said the woman was in and out of consciousness after not having any food or water for days. She had injuries to both legs and was treated at a hospital.
She is recovering at a friend's house.
