BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Officers in Bellingham were called to a report of a voyeur in the 300 block of Elwood Court about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

The location is close to Western Washington University’s Testing Center and minutes away from the campus.
Police said the woman told them she saw a man looking at her through a window of her home. She told officers she ran from the window and believed the man ran toward Bill McDonald Parkway nearby.
The woman described the man as white, in his 20s and wearing a dark hoodie that covered his face, police said.
Officers searched the area and did not find anyone.

Voyeurism has been a problem in Bellingham and on the campus of Western Washington University.
A sketch of a voyeurism suspect was released by police after five cases were reported in September.
Police are investigating acts of lewd behavior that are similar to some 2017 cases.
