SNOHOMISH COUNTY — Two suspects were taken into custody and deputies are still investigating following an attempted robbery in Snohomish County Saturday night.
Deputies with the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said they received a report that a group of suspects attempted to rob a man of his money in a parking lot near Seattle Premium Outlets.

One of the suspects hit the victim with a baseball bat, and the group fled in a car when they were interrupted by a private security guard, deputies said.
Deputies said the group's car crashed into a ditch but was able to keep going.
"Upon seeing approaching deputies the suspects drove down a wooded trail, bailed from the vehicle and fled on foot," deputies said.
Officials then set up a containment of the area and interviewed the victim and witnesses.
A drone and K-9 were also brought in to assist in the search.

Deputies said one suspect walked out of the woods and surrendered, and the other four suspects were later located.
Two suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail on investigation of first-degree robbery, according to deputies.
Deputies said the investigation remains ongoing and they are working to determine the involvement of the other suspects.
