MUKILTEO, Wash. — A fire at an auto shop near Mukilteo caused the closure of the northbound lanes of the Mukilteo Speedway early Thursday.
It happened at an auto repair shop in the 12900 block of the Mukilteo Speedway (SR 525) just south of Beverly Park Road at about 5:10 a.m.
As of 6:20 a.m., one lane northbound lane was back open, but there are long backups.
No injuries have been reported.
Crews from three fire agencies responded. The fire was under control within about 20 minutes.
