Driver slams into Edmonds Dollar Tree

EDMONDS, Wash. — A car driven by an elderly woman slammed into a Dollar Tree store in Edmonds Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at the store in the 23600 block of Highway 99 about 11:45 a.m.

There was no structural damage to the store, but glass was shattered.

The cause of the crash is not known.

The driver was taken to Swedish Medical Center in Edmonds with non-life-threatening injuries.  A Dollar Tree employee had a minor injury but did not need hospitalization.
