New Rainier ‘R' sign will tour Seattle neighborhoods

Western Neon, based in Seattle, fabricated a 12-foot replica neon “R” now atop the former brewery building now owned by Tully's. The original Rainier “R” is at Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry .

SEATTLE — Before the installation of the new “R” sign on top of the old Rainier Brewery, Rainier Beer and sign shop Western Neon will tow the replica sign on a flatbed trailer through several Seattle neighborhoods Tuesday.
