KENT, Wash. — The Kent Fire Department responded after a natural gas line was reported to have broken at a Fred Meyer Monday afternoon.
The Fred Meyer store is located at 10201 Southeast 240th Street.
Video from Chopper 7 showed at least two fire trucks at the scene and one ambulance.
One person was treated by medics outside the store and released.
Gas was shut off to the building and tests of gas levels inside the building, as well as tests for leaks, came up negative.
