Motorcyclist killed in accident with car

Near REDMOND, Wash. — Just before 11 p.m. King County Sheriff’s deputies say a motorcycle and a sedan were both southbound on 236th Ave. NE near NE 50th, just west of Redmond, when the motorcyclist lost control.

KIRO 7 was told that the motorcycle was well ahead of the car when it suddenly slid on the wet road and the driver was ejected.

The motorcycle went into the ditch and the adult male rider was tossed into the vehicle’s path. The driver of the vehicle hit the motorcyclist and he died at the scene.

Neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to be factors in this crash.
