KENT, Wash. — A woman has turned herself in at the Tacoma Police Department in the shooting of a man outside a Kent Starbucks.
The shooting occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. at 208th Street and 108th Avenue Southeast.
According to police, the victim and the woman arrived to go into the Starbucks on Kent’s East Hill. As they prepared to walk in, the woman pulled out a small caliber weapon and shot the man in the cheek, investigators said.
The woman then fled as bystanders tried to help the victim before medics arrived.
The victim is expected to survive.
