Man charged, bail set at $2 million, in Fife double homicide

FIFE, Wash. — Prosecutors have charged a 22-year-old man with murder in the shooting deaths of a woman and man at a Fife home.

Pierce County prosecutors said in a news release Monday they charged Brett Ashdon Dollens with two counts of first-degree murder. Dollens pleaded not guilty to the crimes.

He is being held on $2 million bail.

Authorities responded to a 911 call Dec. 3 from friends who had gone to the home of 22-year-old Charissa Dobbins and 23-year-old Daniel Miller and saw their bodies lying on the floor inside.

Authorities say both died from gunshot wounds to the head.

Deputies say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the house and that the deaths appear to be drug-related.
