South Bend Police have arrested a man in the death of his 11-month-old daughter.
26-year-old Aaron Silva was arrested and charged with homicide by abuse of a toddler on Friday. He is in jail with a bail with a $2 million bail.
Though the death occurred weeks ago, there was an initial language barrier between Silva and police officials that slowed down the prosecution process.
