Woman with shotgun robs people inside RV

SEATTLE — People inside an RV were robbed by a woman with a shotgun Tuesday afternoon.

Seattle police officers were called to a report of a shooting in an RV parking in the 1400 block of Northwest 52nd Street in Ballard at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Several people gathered in the RV told officers that a woman came into the vehicle armed with a shotgun and demanded money, according to a Seattle police significant incident report.

The victims gave her their money and a cellphone.

One of the victims then tried to get the shotgun away from the woman, and after a brief struggle, the woman fired a round into the RV’s floor and then dropped the shotgun before fleeing.

Officers processed the RV for evidence and searched for the woman, but she was not found.
