SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a woman was killed on train tracks near Carkeek Park in north Seattle.
According to Seattle fire, crews got multiple calls around 5 p.m. for reports of a woman who was hit by a train near the overpass at Carkeek.
Fire crews said she was pronounced dead at the scene.
BNSF shut down the tracks while police responded.
It’s unclear if she was by herself or with a group.
The incident is still under investigation.
