WEATHER: The sun is sleeping in this weekend

You’ll have to be a little patient for the sunshine this weekend. We’ll start with some patchy low clouds this morning, but they’ll clear fairly quickly, giving us a mostly sunny afternoon. After yesterday’s upper-70s and lower-80s, highs will be in the low to mid-70s today.

Saturday will be the day you’ll have to wait the longest. Low clouds will be much more widespread and could linger through the morning, with some drizzle or mist possible. The clouds will eventually break, bringing some afternoon sunshine, but highs will only be near 70°.

Sunday will be a little easier. We’ll still start with low clouds, but they won’t be as widespread or thick, and sunshine should return more quickly during the morning. That sets us up for a mostly sunny afternoon with highs in the low-70s.

And that same general pattern continues into next week: clouds to start, sun later in the day, with temperatures in the upper-60s and lower-70s.
