A Martin Luther King Jr. Unity Day celebration was held in Seattle Jan. 11 at the city's Town Hall.

Ilyasah Shabazz, the third daughter of Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz, was keynote speaker, celebrating Dr. King’s legacy. Watch her entire speech recorded above.

She was joined by Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, Seattle City Council President Bruce A. Harrell and community leaders.

"I am a reflection of you and you are a reflection of me. The challenge is to see us as one," Shabazz said in her speech. "To have compassion and care for anyone whose human rights are violated."
