Washington State Patrol looking for witnesses of deadly racing crash on SR 167 in Auburn

AUBURN, Wash. — Washington State Patrol (WSP) is looking for witnesses to a deadly racing crash that happened earlier this week.

Around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 28, a black Porsche and a motorcycle were speeding on southbound SR 167, near SR 18 in Auburn, when the Porsche changed lanes and hit the motorcycle, according to WSP.

The motorcyclist was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene.

WSP said it appears the vehicles were racing.

The driver of the Porsche 911 was placed into custody for vehicular homicide.
