SEATTLE — All traffic was stopped in the southbound lanes of the SR 99 Aurora Bridge after a two-car high-speed crash. All lanes reopened at 12:30 p.m.
The crash near Raye Street happened at about 11:15 a.m. Friday.
Two northbound lanes were blocked but reopened at 11:53 a.m.
Cars stuck in the backup were turned around and routed northbound.
Seattle fire said a 50-year-old had to be extricated from a vehicle and is in critical condition. A second victim with minor injuries was evaluated at the scene.
