One dead, three injured in shooting outside Seattle hookah lounge

SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department (SPD) says one man is dead, and three people were injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in Seattle’s Chinatown International District.

At around 5 a.m., officers responded to the lounge near 8th Avenue South and South Weller Street, where they found a man in a parking lot with fatal gunshot wounds, according to SPD.

Two other men were found shot in a car a few blocks away, near 5th Avenue South and South Dearborn Street. They were brought to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition, with one needing emergency surgery.

Seattle Police say another man was admitted to Valley Medical Center in Renton with a gunshot wound but it’s not clear what his involvement in the shooting was.

SPD says no arrests have been made.

This is a developing story.
