Three men arrested for early morning burglary in Gig Harbor

GIG HARBOR, Wash. — The Gig Harbor Police Department arrested three men in their 30s and 40s – accused of breaking into a business and a generator, a cart, and some tools.

Someone called 911 around 4 a.m. on Thursday after looking at surveillance footage and seeing people who shouldn’t be on the property.

Officers showed up to the area – near Rosedale Street and Skansie Avenue – and saw a suspicious-looking car. It had a generator strapped to the top.

Police pulled the car over and detained all three people inside.

Officers contacted the person who reported the crime, and asked for more information about what they saw on the surveillance footage.

According to police, the video showed two of the people taking the generator and forcing their way into some of the trucks on the property.

All three men were booked into the Pierce County Jail.
