KENT, Wash. — Jimbrown Pin said it took him a moment to realize he was hearing gunshots.
"First it was two," said Pin. "Then there was like a delay. And then they were just multiple, just boom, boom, boom, boom."
Pin said he was concerned. "I mean, it was right in my backyard."
According to police, this was the second shooting last night. The first was a half-mile away on Pacific Highway South in Federal Way.
No victim was found in the first shooting. In the second shooting, police found two teens lying on S 272nd St. in Kent.
Rachelle Wilhelm was arriving home when she heard the shots.
"I had just driven down the street, and I didn't see anybody walking or anything. But apparently it was the two boys, and they started somewhere on that side and carried it across the intersection," she said.
Police said the victims are a 14-year-old male and a 17-year-old male and that two guns found in the street belong to them.
"And, you know, the funny thing is that right at the Arco, right up the hill, there was a cop, sitting at the Arco," said Wilhelm. "And, you know, obviously he's not going to know anything's going to happen. But you know how safe are we when we're just a block away from help and this still goes down right here."
Federal Way police said the teens have been involved in criminal activity in the past.
They are at Harborview Medical Center. Their families have asked the hospital not to release any information.
