TACOMA, Wash. — All Tacoma T Line services will be suspended for four days next week.
Buses will replace T Line trains across the entire alignment from Tacoma Dome to St. Joseph Station from 6 p.m. Monday, April 6, until the end of service Thursday, April 9.
According to Sound Transit, they need to replace a broken rail at South 21st Street and Pacific Avenue.
Construction will take place at night after 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. During the day, the intersection will be open for bus transit and other traffic.
Fare-free buses will serve all stops during the closure, running the normal T Line schedule. To assist passengers, additional security and staff ambassadors will be at T Line stations to help people navigate the disruption and get where they need to go.
