TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Police Department and Crime Stoppers need your help to track down a missing car.
The car, a 2016 Mazda CX5, was stolen in an armed carjacking earlier this month close to the University of Puget Sound (UPS), according to Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers says that this Mazda was taken around 12:40 a.m. Oct. 11 near the 3100 block of N 14th S.
Crime Stoppers also notes that the Mazda was stolen by two suspects who robbed two UPS students at gunpoint.
In addition to taking the car, the two suspects, who were with two other suspects in a “light colored [four] door sedan” before the carjacking, also took the students’ wallets and phones, according to Crime Stoppers.
If you see the Mazda CX5, which has California license plates and license plate number 7RWA503, Crime Stoppers urges you to contact them via their website or call them at 1-800-222-TIPS.
