TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Art Museum (TAM) is closed for several days because of a safety threat.
The museum posted the announcement on its Facebook page, saying it would remain closed until Wednesday out of an abundance of caution.
It was deemed likely not credible by officials – but the museum staff didn’t want to take any chances.
KIRO 7 has reached out to Tacoma police to learn more about the threat that was made and whether any other precautions are being taken.
