SNOHOMISH, Wash. — Fall is coming to an end, but families have one more weekend to enjoy the season at Swans Trail Farms in Snohomish.

Now in its 32nd year, the farm has grown significantly since it first opened.

“We started off with a little two-acre pumpkin patch, and now we’ve grown into about 50 acres of pumpkins that we grow every year,” said Nate Krause, co-owner of Swans Trail Farms.

Visitors can choose from more than 30 activities, including holding live baby chicks, watching duck and pig races, riding zip lines and bouncing on jumping pillows.

The farm also offers food, a cidery and plenty of opportunities for fall photos.

“All kinds of photo ops we offer,” Krause said. “A magical pumpkin garden: you walk in, it’s about four acres of pumpkins put together, and it is just a great way to spend a day.”

For those looking for a different experience after dark, Swans Trail Farms also offers the Great Harvest Glow, which requires a separate ticket.

Krause said the nighttime attraction features about 5,000 pumpkins spread across three-quarters of an acre, with visitors walking through different scenes featuring carved pumpkins.

Thousands of people have been coming to the farm, and this weekend is the final chance to experience its fall festivities this season.

“If you want one more push to enjoy fall, we’d love to have you come out,” Krause said.

Tickets for both the daytime activities and Great Harvest Glow have been selling out quickly. Visitors can also stop by for drinks, food, and the pumpkin patch without a ticket.
