SHORELINE, Wash. — The Shoreline Police Department (SPD) says it arrested a man earlier this month suspected of stealing from at least 26 homes over the past year and a half.
Police say the suspect is a “prolific” burglar. In several of the reported incidents, residents were inside their homes when the burglaries occurred.
The King County Sheriff’s Office says the prosecutor’s office charged the suspect with residential burglary, trafficking stolen property, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Detectives say the investigation into the series of break-ins remains active.
They are asking anyone who suspects they had jewelry or other personal items stolen from a Shoreline area home over the past year-and-a-half to contact law enforcement. Residents who have not yet filed a report can contact the Shoreline Police Department at 206-296-3311.
