Sparkles, drag and a mission: Seattle fundraiser supports women building careers

SEATTLE — A Seattle organization is trying to close the gender pay gap and help more women get into the workforce. They need your help to do it.

Dress for Success Seattle is hosting its annual fall fundraiser next month to raise money for the work it does in the Seattle area, including providing free clothing to women attending job interviews and career counseling.

The organization will host the event, Queens of Success, on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026.

The drag brunch event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mount Baker Community Club.

The event benefits Dress for Success Seattle, supporting its mission to empower women and the gender-expansive community on their paths toward economic independence.

The entertainment lineup features local Seattle drag queens Queen Andrew Scott, Dolly Madison and Sereya.

The two-hour event will feature brunch, a mimosa bar, drawings, and various fundraising activities.

Organizers encourage attendees to wear pink, rhinestones, sparkles, and feathers in support of the fundraiser.
