SR 99 in Lynnwood reopened after deadly hit-and-run motorcycle crash

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The southbound lanes of State Route 99 in Lynnwood were fully blocked after a deadly motorcycle crash early Thursday morning.

According to an update released later that same morning by Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Kelsey Harding, the crash was a hit-and-run involving a semi. The semi has a blue cab and white trailer, and troopers are looking for that driver.

The Washington State Department of Transportation confirmed that all lanes had reopened by 9:35 a.m., around 5 hours after the crash.

This is a developing story and will be updated as information becomes available.
