Sound Transit light rail suspended between Northgate and Judkins Park stations

SEATTLE — Light rail service has been suspended in Seattle between the Northgate, Stadium, and Judkins Park stations.

Service is suspended due to a power issue that was discovered just after 6:45 a.m. It caused delays and ultimately a shutdown of both the 1 Line and the 2 Line. The suspension of service is not related to copper wire theft, according to Sound Transit.

Sound Transit staff is recommending that travelers use alternative transportation, but buses run between Northgate and Westlake Stations.

For alternate routes, visit Sound Transit’s website.
