Snohomish County deputy adopts kitten found abandoned in carrier

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an abandoned kitten left in a carrier for hours on November 18.

A deputy responded at around 5 p.m. and witnesses said the cat had been stuck in the carrier since earlier that morning.

The sheriff’s office said the cat was in need of help and it was brought back to the precinct.

It was given a bath, cat food, and another deputy decided to adopt the kitten and named it Gingerbread.
