The frequent, violent lightning from Saturday’s storm caused a Husky football game to be delayed and forced the Washington State Fair in Puyallup to shut down early for safety concerns.
On Thursday, another storm rolled across the central and southern Puget Sound areas before moving into the Cascades and foothills, bringing lightning, gusty winds and brief downpours.
