SEATTLE — A second Amazon Go Store opened Downtown Seattle Monday.

It's at Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, a mile from the first one near the Amazon Spheres.

Amazon made the announcement about the new location a few months ago, but at the time the windows were covered.

Like the first store, the new store will also run with no lines or checkout, meaning you don’t need cash or credit cards to shop there.

Monday morning, the lights are on, the layout of the store can be seen as well as the products they will sell. The store was ready for customers at 7 a.m.

Shoppers use a phone app that is scanned at the front door. The app then automatically tracks what is picked up and then charges the shopper after they leave the store.

The new store is smaller than the original one at 1,450 square feet and does not have liquor aisle or in-store kitchen like the original location, though otherwise, the products sold are similar, with ready-to-eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options as well as Amazon Meal Kits.
