WASHINGTON — The weather forecast continues to look dry and ‘uneventful’ for the next few days.
This October is shaping up to be one of the driest Octobers on record and there does not appear to be any significant rain-relief in sight this week.
Tonight will be partly cloudy and low temperatures once again will cool off to the mid 40s near the water and upper 30s in normally colder locations.
Areas of fog in the morning are likely to form before sunrise and burn off before noon.
Tomorrow will be back in the lower 60s for high temperatures.
Looking ahead to the rest of this week, a weak front is forecast to move into western Washington on Thursday.
The front will probably scare up some showers on the coast, but not much rain is likely on the lee side of the Olympic Mountains. After that (unimpressive) front passes, the computer models are having a hard time forecasting the upcoming weekend.
The European model puts rain in the area on Saturday and the GFS does not. This outlook could easily change by mid-week so keep checking for the latest forecast. For now, I’m forecasting a chance of showers for both days this weekend.
Enjoy some nice, quiet October days this week with fog in the morning and some sunshine in the afternoon!
