Rockslide hits pickup pulling a camper near Asotin

ASOTIN, Wash. — A pickup truck pulling a fifth-wheel camper was hit by a rockslide about six miles south of Asotin along Snake River Road.

It happened on Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m.

According to Asotin County Fire District #1, the rock slide blocked most of the road. Vehicles were able to navigate around the main debris, though.

No one was hurt, but the camper sustained extensive damage.

Firefighters were called to the area to clear the road around 10:30 p.m.
