A 66-year-old woman went overboard Sunday evening while on the ferry M/V Kaleetan, a spokesperson for Washington State Ferries said.
The ferry was headed to Bremerton from Seattle.
Officials said crews rescued the woman and got her back on the ferry.
The ferry returned to Seattle, where medics were waiting.
Officials did not say how the woman fell or give information on the status of her condition.
The incident caused delays in the ferry’s later departures from Bremerton and Seattle.
