SEATTLE — Police are looking for multiple suspects involved in a shootout in front of the Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club in Columbia City.

The Seattle Police Department says it received reports of the shooting after 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Based on surveillance footage, investigators believe two suspects opened fire at a black SUV in the Boys and Girls Club parking lot before two people stepped out of the vehicle and fired back.

Police say nearby homes were damaged, and officers recovered 70 shell casings and live ammunition rounds.

One neighbor who wants to stay anonymous provided a video of the gunfire exchange just outside his home.

“There were 150 to 250 rounds going off and a magazine only holds so many, so that had to be quite a few guns and quite a few gunmen,” said the concerned neighbor.

Police say they didn’t find any victims, and local hospitals haven’t reported any patients coming in with gunshot wounds.
