SEATTLE — Seattle police arrested a 28-year-old rideshare driver after they say he groped a passenger on First Hill.
The driver had picked up the passenger Wednesday afternoon.
The passenger told police she sat in the front seat of the vehicle and the driver started groping her during the drive. After the passenger told him to stop, he continued, police said.
Police said the woman then got out of the vehicle, ran to Harborview’s sexual assault and trauma center and called police. She gave them the driver’s information, name and photo.
Officers tracked the man down at his home in Shoreline and arrested him. He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of indecent liberties.
