Police arrested a man suspected of stabbing a grocery store employee with a pair of scissors earlier this month in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood.
On Feb. 9, officers responded to a report of a stabbing at the QFC at 2707 Rainier Avenue South.
When officers arrived at the scene, store employees were restraining a man.
Investigators said employees were restocking shelves in the produce department when the man walked into the store, took out a pair of scissors and allegedly stabbed one of the employees in the back.
Police said the man allegedly tried to stab the employee a second time.
Two of the employees grabbed and restrained the suspect, who was still holding scissors.
Police said a second pair of scissors were found on the suspect.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for the stab wound and a laceration.
The suspect was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for investigation of assault.
