SEATTLE — Seattle police are searching for two suspects who stole a woman’s SUV with her two children inside in Seattle’s Wedgwood neighborhood.

Officials said police were called to a report of a stolen car with two small kids inside at Northeast 88th Street and Lake City Way Northeast at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday.

When officers arrived, they found the woman’s car and her two kids at 33rd Avenue Northeast and Northeast 123rd Street, officials said. The children were unharmed.

KIRO 7 spoke with the children's mother who said she was locking up a food truck that was parked at a Shell gas station's parking lot when the suspects walked up and took her BMW SUV with her 1-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter inside.

A police dog was used to track down two suspects, but they were not found, officials said.

One suspect, a man, is believed to have a light complexion and is wearing a red and white checkered shirt with black pants. The other suspect, a white woman, has blonde hair and is wearing all black.

The owner of the gas station shared surveillance video with KIRO 7, which show the suspects stealing the SUV.  Watch the video in the window below.

Anyone with information regarding the carjacking is asked to call 911.
