KENT, Wash. — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a Kent home Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to a suspicious circumstances call at a house near 250th Street and 23rd Place South around 1:19 a.m.
Police were told that a 40-year-old woman was found unconscious. When they arrived, they began CPR until medics arrived.
The woman did not respond to the efforts and died at the scene, police said.
A release from the Kent Police Department said officials believe it is a homicide and does appear to be random.
