Man shot, killed in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Sunday afternoon.

Officers responded to the area of Third Avenue and Pine Street for reports of a shooting at about 12:30 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, police found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of Pine Street.

The victim was approximately 45 years old, according to SFD.

Officers and Seattle Fire Department medics attempted lifesaving measures, but the man was declared deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives and members of the SPD crime scene investigation unit responded to the scene to collect and process evidence.
