LYNNWOOD, Wash. — Police are investigating after a child in Lynnwood was injured after getting run over by an F-150 truck.
The 6-year-old girl fell from the passenger side door Sunday as the truck was making a turn in a parking lot.
Police said the truck's back tire struck the child as she fell. She was not wearing a seat belt.
The girl was rushed to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Police say the mishap occurred around 1:30 p.m. along 64th Avenue West just north of 200th Street SW. The driver is cooperating with authorities.
Police said they are still trying to figure out whether or not charges will be filed.
