A man who police identified as a suspect in a deadly home invasion in Tacoma from earlier this year, has turned himself in to police custody.
On Wednesday, Tacoma police said Daniel L. Perris-Karlton III was wanted in connection to a homicide on Jan. 17. A woman called to report that someone had broken into her home and shot her boyfriend.
When police arrived at the home in the 600 bock of South Steele Street the 24-year-old man had died from his injuries. The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Jawuan Swift, of Tacoma.
Police said Perris-Karlton turned himself in at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.
