LYNNWOOD, Wash. — An 80-year-old man who allegedly stabbed a woman Monday morning was then hit with a shovel by another woman interrupting the attack, police said.

The alleged attack happened around 11 a.m. in the 14300 block of Admiralty Way in Lynnwood.

The sheriff’s office said a woman who lives across the road then came and hit the man with a shovel.

The 80-year-old man, a resident of the Serene Terrace mobile home park, got into a dispute with the manager of the park over a fence he built, according to a resident at the park.
