The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium says it welcomed an 11-year-old harbor seal named Onion from the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo.
Onion was initially rescued as a pup after he was found stranded on the Massachusetts coast, the zoo posted.
Rescuers learned he experienced vision loss and determined he couldn’t be released back into the wild.
