PUYALLUP, Wash. — People looking for a place to work out in Puyallup now have another option.
Planet Fitness has opened a location in South Hill.
The new facility is located in the Best Buy Plaza next to Boot Barn on South Meridian.
The 19,740-square-foot facility offers the following amenities:
- 83 pieces of strength equipment, including free weights, expansive strength machines, plate-loaded bench presses, hack squats and a seated calf machine
- 56 state-of-the-art pieces of cardio equipment
- Functional training area with kettlebells, TRX suspension bands and battle ropes
- Dedicated mobility and stretching space
- Black Card Spa® area for PF Black Card® members featuring HydroMassage™ Loungers, Elite Massage Chairs, Salon Grade Hybrid Tanning Beds, RedWave Recovery, HydroMassage™ Bed and a Red Light Sauna, which combines red light therapy with infrared heat to help members relax and recover after their workouts. (One of the first Planet Fitness clubs to offer this amenity!)
- Numerous flat-screen televisions
- Free WiFi
- TVs with wireless connections to all cardio equipment

Here are the location’s hours:
- Monday through Thursday: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday: 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This is the second location in Puyallup and the 19th in the Seattle-Tacoma area.
