Pilot rushed to hospital after plane crashes in Lake Stevens

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. — A pilot of a small plane was rushed to the hospital after plane crashed in Lake Stevens over the weekend.

According to Snohomish County Fire District #22, the single-engine aircraft went down near 127th Avenue NE just after 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The pilot was the only one inside the plane and had serious injuries.

Neighbors immediately provided first aid before crews arrived. Firefighters say their quick actions helped provide the best possible outcome for the pilot.

The crash is being investigated by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
