A driver was injured Sunday night after a piece of concrete crashed through her windshield as she was driving on Interstate 90.
The incident happened in the westbound lanes through the I-90 Mt. Baker Tunnel at about 10:30 p.m.
Mercer Island firefighters said the 29-year-old driver sustained head and neck injuries.
She was taken to an area hospital for medical care.
Washington State Patrol is investigating.
