KENT, Wash. — A man was killed and another driver critically injured in a car crash in Kent Monday night.
Puget Sound Fire posted about the crash at 7:31 p.m. and said crews were at the scene. The crash happened on Canyon Drive at Weiland Street.
Police said a speeding car may have caused the crash. They said the 22-year-old driver smashed into a minivan and the car went off the road and into some trees.
Police and firefighters tried to save the 22-year-old but he did not survive. The driver of the minivan was injured and taken to the hospital.
Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
