ORTING, Wash. — Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a car and a 79-year-old woman in Orting.
The crash happened on SR-162 near McMillin Park of Industry.
WSP said the woman was trying to cross the road when she was hit by a car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
Troopers have not yet said if intoxication or speed was a factor.
